Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of construction professionals to deliver high-profile and high-value projects.
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Construction Management
    • Develop and implement construction management strategies to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively.
    • Manage and coordinate construction activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects.
  • Client Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Commercial and Financial Management
    • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
    • Develop and implement commercial strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment
    • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental strategies to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
    • Monitor and report on health, safety, and environmental performance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Significant experience in construction management, preferably in a senior leadership role.
    • Proven track record of delivering high-profile and high-value projects.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
    • Strong commercial and financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.
    • Membership of a relevant professional institution, such as RICS, CIOB, APM, or ICE.
