We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MS Bassi Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare Building Plans: Develop and implement building plans in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure and Cut Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Construct Building Frames: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Install Fixtures and Fittings: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Coordinate Site Work: Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the building trades industry.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Ability to support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
