The Life Skills Worker plays a vital role in supporting clients with daily living activities and promoting independence. This position involves planning, observing, and reporting on client progress, as well as providing structured support to develop and maintain life skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as time management, money management, and personal care
- Provide support to develop and maintain life skills, including organization, interpersonal communication, and community access
- Work with clients to set and achieve goals, and provide feedback and guidance as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A background in social work, psychology, or a related field is an asset.
