Position SummaryReporting to the Manager of Occupational Therapy, the Occupational Therapist II will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to deliver person-centered care. You will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions that promote independence and well-being.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a primary care setting preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
