Occupational Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
* Provide competent, safe, and ethical care to patients and their families in settings such as physician practices, homes, facilities, and communities
* Apply the principles of evidence-informed practice to achieve effective outcomes related to patient participation in valued activities
* Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient
Requirements
* Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program
* Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve patient-centered care
