About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Tondou Ramen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all food preparation and service standards are met.

Train and Develop Staff

Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff, focusing on food safety, sanitation, and customer service.

Inventory Management

Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that all ingredients and supplies are stocked and ordered in a timely manner.

Quality Control

Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring that all dishes meet our culinary standards.

Reporting and Record Keeping

Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen operations, including inventory, sales, and customer feedback.

Teamwork and Communication

Work closely with other departments, including front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service and communication.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Work Environment

Fast-paced restaurant environment

Physical Demands

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular standing, walking, and lifting

Personal Qualities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork
