Job Title: Assistant Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and providing leadership and coaching to our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen operations strategies.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items and promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt and accurate food delivery.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain the highest standards of food quality.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
