Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Owen Sound, ON.

About the Role

We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about providing high-quality care to clients in a clinic setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently with clients, using a variety of therapy skills to improve their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments in a clinic setting based on presenting impairment or diagnosis using standardized assessment tools.
  • Design a care plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding care goals and service plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Flexible and good organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills, with strong organizational abilities.
