Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Owen Sound, ON.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about providing high-quality care to clients in a clinic setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently with clients, using a variety of therapy skills to improve their well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessments in a clinic setting based on presenting impairment or diagnosis using standardized assessment tools.
- Design a care plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
- Partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding care goals and service plans.
- Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
- Flexible and good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and analytic skills, with strong organizational abilities.
- Extensive learning and education development opportunities.
