Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
    • Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
    • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
  • Merchandise Management
    • Maintain sales floor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
    • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory and Stocking
    • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, administer required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
    • Stock merchandise/picks, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, set and complete modulars, including flex modulars, and set new shelf caps.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 25 kg. You will also need to be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
