Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerk IV. This role will provide administrative support to our program, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate biweekly divisional/program meetings, including meeting transcripts, task assignment, and follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support for program documentation, training schedules, and clinical schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas/minutes, program reports/statistical reports, and community/provincial steering committee presentations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, providing program information and connecting with clients/families regarding appointments/follow-up.
  • Liaise with provincial counterparts to support the expansion of our program to other health zones.
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school with a diploma recognized by the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
  • Completion of a two-year office administration program approved by Central Health.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Consistent demonstration of the core values of NL Health Services: Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (I CARE).
  • A satisfactory record of performance and attendance.
  • A satisfactory certificate of conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent experience in clerical work of a fiscal nature.
