About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aon's team as an Associate Account Executive in our Edmonton office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients and helping them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client renewals and collaborate with the client team on marketing requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Identify client risk exposures and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Establish account-specific service plans and delivery approaches to support coverage solutions and provide opportunities for Aon product/service exposure.
  • Coordinate client information with the Broking Team to initiate the renewal process.
  • Service existing programs, define routine risk exposure, and provide first-level advice on general policy coverages under the direction of the principle Account Executive.
  • Prepare client service summaries, program reports, and client survey information for review by Service Team Management.
  • Receive and process client requests, reviewing documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, renewals, or cancellations.
  • Review endorsements, cover notes, and certificates of insurance produced by the Client Support Team to ensure their accuracy and completion in support of the team's service plan.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business the importance of best practice.
  • Handle and service an assigned book of accounts.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of insurance industry experience.
  • Level I Insurance License is required; Level II Insurance License is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both verbally and written.
  • Client-focused with proven relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
