Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the design of essential components of large-scale infrastructure initiatives, including utilities, water systems, and drainage solutions.
  • Manage smaller projects such as civil engineering designs for recreational areas or site development.
  • Support the growth and development of junior team members and interns.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines to ensure a comprehensive approach to design.
  • Be accountable for delivering client-focused outcomes.
  • Assist project managers with daily project activities.
  • Engage in discussions with clients and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals.
  • Prepare reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
  • Participate in local professional organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed engineer with the OIQ.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with AFP/P3 delivery models is advantageous.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position in Montreal is $93,000 - $115,000 annually. Arup offers benefits that include health and welfare security for employees and their families. Additionally, employees can participate in the Global Profit Share Plan and benefit from a 5% company match for retirement savings.
