Key Responsibilities:- Lead, manage, coordinate, and implement customer scope of work within a designated area to provide exceptional janitorial services.
- Participate in the development and implementation of plans for customers, including waxing schedules, budgets, and potential add-on sales opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.
- Train subcontractors and employees on required legislated training (WHMIS, Health & Safety, etc.).
- Lead process initiatives and work with senior management to identify trends and process gaps.
- Analyze and control store budgets, monitor expenses for operations, and develop strategies to decrease costs and increase profitability at store level.
- Implement transitions of new business in customer locations in compliance with transition process.
- Support hiring, recruitment, training, performance management, and termination of subcontractors.
- Work in compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislation.
- Be available to address customer and subcontractor needs and concerns in a timely manner.
- Ability to work flexible shifts on a rotation basis, including evenings and nights.
- Business acumen, strong verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills, time management, leadership skills, autonomy, and competent with technology.
- Managing budgeting and costing within janitorial operational environments.
- Knowledge of floor-care and cleaning procedures is an asset.
- Ability to motivate a mobile team of subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Degree in business administration or related field.
