Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Liverpool Pizzeria & Lounge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food and Supply Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Management: Establish work schedules, hire food service staff, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail. Language:

English is the primary language of communication in our kitchen.

Work Schedule:

35 hours per week, permanent position.
