Financial Advisor Job Description

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisor to join our team. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and guidance on investment and financial planning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities to match clients with the right financial products and services that meet their needs and goals
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and referral goals by building strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional customer service
  • Participate in business development plans through corporate and branch marketing campaigns to drive growth and revenue
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our financial products and services, including investment and retail banking solutions
  • Promote referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and third-party providers to expand our client base
  • Stay up-to-date on local market trends, competitive offers, and economic conditions to provide informed advice to clients
  • Ensure compliance with all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and protect our clients' interests
  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to our best practices and delivering a positive experience for our clients
  • Contribute to our company culture by embodying our values of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in retail banking or a related financial industry, preferably in sales or customer service
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in finance or a related field is an asset
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC), Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA), and Financial Planning I (FP1) certifications are valuable assets
