Job Title: Member Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Your Neighbourhood Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, processing financial transactions, and promoting our products and services to meet the needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to members, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify and meet the needs of members, promoting our products and services to ensure their financial goals are met
  • Balance the ATM and maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Make sales calls and referrals to meet sales targets
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work at any branch of YNCU when requested
  • Meet YNCU's Balancing Standards: Same-day Balancing Ratio 75% minimum, Accumulated Difference YTD within $100.00, and Time Required to Balance 15 min. average
  • Professional demeanor and professional dress
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members alike
