About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Your Neighbourhood Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, processing financial transactions, and promoting our products and services to meet the needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process members' transactional requests, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
  • Provide prompt and courteous member service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Uncover members' needs and assist them in utilizing our products and services that best meet those needs
  • Make sales calls and referrals to promote our products and services
  • Balance the ATM and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members
  • Professional demeanor and professional dress
  • Comfortable using the Internet and email programs, including our online banking system
