About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cobs Bread. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Operations Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that our operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for food service staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage to meet customer demands.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Cobs Bread, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet customer demands. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
