About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Galaxy Homes. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install underground wiring and cables to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to meet the electrical needs of our clients.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize downtime and ensure electrical systems are running smoothly.
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment to meet the electrical needs of our clients.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures to meet the electrical needs of our clients.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure electrical systems are running efficiently and safely.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly.
Requirements
  • Electrician Trade Certification to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform electrical work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and ensure electrical systems are installed correctly.
  • Physical stamina to perform electrical work in a variety of settings.
