About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team at Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our machine shop and ensuring that all production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Develop and implement cost estimates and production plans to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
