We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Brockville Barburrito. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Prepare and package take-out food to meet customer expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service at counters and buffet tables
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment
- Handle and store cleaning products safely
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare and cut vegetables and fruit for menu items
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Handle heavy loads and equipment
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods
- Work under pressure to meet customer demands
- Excellent client focus and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and efficient in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Positive attitude and initiative
- Permanent position
- English language required
- 30 hours per week
