Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor at Liverpool Pizzeria & Lounge plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. This position requires a dedicated individual who can manage staff, ensure quality service, and maintain a positive dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months in a similar role is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Order and manage food and kitchen supplies efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their duties, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit reports on service performance.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
