Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Liverpool Pizzeria & Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction
- Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in food service management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Standing for extended periods may be required
