Lead Functional Testing Specialist

The Final Quality Assurance Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of boiler units and associated assemblies by conducting thorough functional assessments in line with predefined protocols, while actively fostering a culture of safety at all times.
Shift - Weekend Only Shift (Fri-Sun 7am - 7pm) (Note: initial training will occur during day shifts for the first 8 to 12 months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze dimensional and electrical schematics to identify and rectify operational issues.
- Possess a strong understanding of mechanical functions to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to piping, burner mechanisms, and other mechanical elements.
- Review process documentation, pinpoint discrepancies, and complete all required unit reporting.
- Operate an overhead crane as necessary.
- Utilize specialized testing instruments such as high potential testers, fuel gas analyzers, and vibration meters.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting dimensional and electrical schematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously
- Familiarity with and adherence to all test pit Standard Operating Procedures
- Solid electrical and mechanical understanding
- Keen attention to quality
Working Environment and Safety Considerations:
Standard conditions found in plants, workshops, field locations, or office settings. Occasionally, there may be slightly unpleasant aspects, but exposure is minimal or non-existent.
