We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Teacher to join our team at the Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology. As a Certified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in the English and Humanities department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
- Previous experience teaching Grade 11/12 English and Humanities is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in a blended learning environment.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems.
- Experience teaching in an adult setting.
