Job Title: Vinyl Floor Installer

We are seeking a skilled Vinyl Floor Installer to join our team at South Island Deck Solutions Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Vinyl Floor Installer will be responsible for installing vinyl flooring materials, inspecting and repairing damaged floor coverings, and estimating costs and materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working with resilient floor coverings and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, Measure and Mark Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered, measure and mark them accurately to ensure a proper fit.
  • Measure, Cut and Install Resilient Floor Coverings: Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings, including vinyl flooring materials.
  • Prepare and Install Hardwood Floors: Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Inspect and Repair Damaged Floor Coverings: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, including vinyl flooring materials.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for each job, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare Floors for Installations: Prepare floors for installations, including cleaning and preparing the surface.
  • Install Vinyl Decking Materials: Install vinyl decking materials, ensuring a secure and durable finish.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in flooring installation.
