About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at BAPLA FLOORING LTD. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered, measure and mark them accurately to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Read and Interpret Plans: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Install and Repair Floor Coverings: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, and install new materials on counter tops and raised platforms.
  • Remove Existing Floor Coverings: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to prepare the surface for new installations.
  • Prepare Floors for Installation: Prepare floors for installations by cleaning and ensuring they are free from debris and contaminants.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions: This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, with regular lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a highly organized and team-oriented individual who can work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Language and Hours: The work language is English, and the working hours are 35 hours per week.
