SAP Programmer Job Description

Tomlinson Group of Companies is seeking a skilled SAP Programmer to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP programming, including ABAP, Fiori, and BTP, and be well-versed in S/4 HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom Fiori programs and implement standard SAP programs to replace legacy systems.
  • Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain BTP applications using SAP Cloud Platform technologies.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Work with project managers to deliver solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP programming, including ABAP, Fiori, and BTP.
  • Experience in an S/4 HANA environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and mentor other programmers in SAP programming activities an asset.
  • Strong programming skills in SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of other programming technologies such as Java, Python, and Node.js is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
