We are seeking a visionary leader to guide Dorje Denma Ling through its next chapter of growth and development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our organization's mission and vision forward, while fostering a culture of compassion, kindness, and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our organizational goals
  • Lead and manage a team of seasonal staff and volunteers to create a rich and supportive community practice environment
  • Serve as the primary liaison between our Centre and the local Shambhala community, as well as the general public
  • Collaborate with our Head of Finance and Management Team to ensure the financial well-being of the Centre
  • Build and maintain relationships with organizations, foundations, and other stakeholders to support our mission
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role or industry
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to use electronic media effectively
  • Experience in project management, event planning, and team leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and stakeholders
