About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at BBA Consultants. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation solutions using various technologies such as SCADA, PLC, and DCS.
  • Implement and commission automation systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems, providing technical support to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automation strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our services and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on instrumentation and control design.
  • Proven experience with SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles, including circuit analysis and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and internal teams to understand and meet their needs.
