Job Summary
The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time regular professor position in the field of anti-colonial and anti-racist feminisms. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing courses that explore the intersections of gender, race, and ethnicity in the context of colonialism and imperialism.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and develop courses on anti-colonial and anti-racist feminisms, including topics such as representations of gender and ethnicity, colonial stereotypes, and postcolonial theory.
- Develop and implement curriculum that reflects the university's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Contribute to the development of research initiatives and projects that advance the field of anti-colonial and anti-racist feminisms.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field, with a focus on anti-colonial and anti-racist feminisms.
- Experience in teaching and developing courses at the undergraduate level.
- Strong research record in the field of anti-colonial and anti-racist feminisms.

- Experience in developing and implementing curriculum that reflects the university's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
