Job Summary
The University of Ottawa is seeking a Part-Time Professor to teach an introductory course on Women's and Gender Studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in feminist and intersectional theories and a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach an introductory course on Women's and Gender Studies, covering topics such as intersectionality, feminist theories, and social relations.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes critical thinking and analysis.
- Mentor and support students in their academic and professional development.
- Contribute to the development of the Women's and Gender Studies program at the University of Ottawa.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Women's and Gender Studies, Feminist Studies, or a related field.
- Experience teaching introductory courses in Women's and Gender Studies or related fields.
