Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class 3A Driver/Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Farmer's Business Network, Inc. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and products, as well as the coordination of local deliveries and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 3A vehicle and navigate through various routes to ensure timely and safe delivery of products to customers.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of materials and products.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of shipments and receipts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns related to logistics and delivery operations.
  • Participate in regular safety audits and quality control checks to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Current Class 3A license and a clean driving record.
  • Current TDG and WHMIS endorsement or ability to obtain them.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product delivery and distribution to a customer base.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Proven track record of managing direct-to-customer deliveries.
  • Knowledge of safety and legal documentation processes for handling related driver and warehouse activities.
  • Excellent leadership and administration skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, resolve crises, and make decisions.
  • Ability to coordinate work with internal and external teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified or ability to be certified on equipment such as forklifts.
  • Working understanding of WMS systems.
  • Acceptable incident history.
  • Class 1A license.
  • Ability to safely handle equipment used to physically move inventory.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations.
