About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Sweet Love Childcare Centre Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Storytelling and leading activities that promote creativity and learning
  • Supervising staff, trainees, or volunteers and assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs
  • Ordering supplies and equipment and assisting with record-keeping
  • Encouraging children to express creativity through various media and engaging them in activities that promote learning and development
  • Guiding and assisting children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and preparing reports for parents or guardians
  • Discussing progress and problems of children at staff meetings and establishing guidelines for behavior
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Own transportation
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
