We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at Island Health. To be successful in this role, you will require a recognized nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Additionally, you must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN/RPN registrant.
Our ideal candidate will have three to five years of recent related experience, including two years of relevant clinical experience. At our Acute sites, we require an RN, while at our LTC and/or MHSU sites, we require an RN or RPN.
Key Skills and Abilities- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to use a collaborative approach and employ human relation skills, including conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and commitment to collaborative practice and lifelong learning.
- Ability to operate related equipment and contribute to the professional and organizational vision as it pertains to clinical practice and patient care.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
