Security Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Project Manager to join our team at Tiree. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for managing the deployment and implementation of physical security solutions that safeguard our client's physical assets, employees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage deployment activities to ensure projects are executed on budget, within scope and schedule.
- Security Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technical security needs and develop comprehensive physical security designs and their associated architecture.
- Technical Specifications: Create detailed technical specifications and plans for access control systems, surveillance cameras, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.
- Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.
- Design Integration: Integrate design elements with architectural, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical and other disciplines to deliver a coordinated design solution.
- Implementation Support: Provide guidance and support during the implementation phase to ensure security systems are installed correctly and function as intended.
- Education: Diploma or degree in a related field such as security systems, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- Industry Certification: Industry certification is an asset (examples include ASIS Board Certified, PSP, CPP).
- Experience: Proven experience in physical security design and implementation, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Security Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of access control systems, video surveillance, and intrusion detection technologies.
- Design Software: Proficiency in security design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, security system modeling software).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASIS, NFPA, UL).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security risks and develop effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret clearance. Asset: existing Secret clearance.
