Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Hit & Run Collision Inc. as a key member of our fabrication department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using various welding techniques.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a noisy environment.
