Job Description

About the Role

The Cultural Human Resources Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in the field of performing arts and culture. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our organization, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality programs and services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to advance the organization's mission and goals
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver programs and services that meet the needs of our community
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including artists, arts organizations, and community partners
  • Manage the organization's budget and finances, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources
  • Represent the organization at local, national, and international events, promoting our work and building our reputation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role in the arts or cultural sector
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and managing budgets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
  • Knowledge of the performing arts and cultural sector, including trends, issues, and best practices
