Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a dynamic team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Software Engineering: Oversee the development of software for large-scale, evolving systems, with a focus on data acquisition and real-time applications.
- Project Management: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align software development with project deliverables and strategic objectives.
- Tech Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain MDS's position as a leader in software innovation.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, preferably related to data acquisition systems and turbine engine testing.
- Management Experience: At least 5 years of management experience, leading software teams and overseeing product development.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, particularly with real-time or time-critical applications, and modern software development languages and frameworks such as Python, QT, C, C++, and GIT.
