We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 536530 YUKON INC.
Job SummaryThe Kitchen Helper will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food and beverages
- Set tables and clean up after meals
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes by hand
- Replenish condiments and supplies
- Keep records of food quantities used
- Package take-out food and prepare simple food items
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Receive and store supplies
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced cooks and kitchen staff.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
