Director of Certification and Quality Management

The Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) is a leading association in Ontario representing the interests of those who own, manage, build, and finance residential rental properties and their industry partners.

As a critical leadership role, the Director of Certification and Quality Management will be responsible for managing and expanding The Canadian Certified Rental BuildingTM (CCRB) program, including the Living GREEN TogetherTM sustainability initiative.

This individual will uphold the highest standards of quality, excellence, service, and sustainability within Ontario's purpose-built rental housing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct all aspects of The Canadian Certified Rental BuildingTM program (CCRB), including the Living GREEN TogetherTM sustainability program.
  • Manage the operation, expansion, and enhancement of CCRB as a national program promoting quality, excellence, service, and sustainability within the purpose-built rental housing industry.
  • Oversee the building certification process, including third-party auditors.
  • Manage program communications and marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets.
  • Vendor contract management.
  • Design, development, and implementation of CRB-related educational programs and materials.
  • Provide an e-learning portfolio of training courses (as budget permits).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow programs on a national scale.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in coordinating events and managing budgets.
