About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Window Treatment Sales and Design Consultant to join our team at Linen Chest. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and selling our products to customers in-person and virtually.

As a Window Treatment Sales and Design Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work independently and use your skills to drive sales and revenue growth. You will be working closely with our customers to understand their needs and preferences, and providing them with personalized solutions to meet their window fashion needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Design: Make phone calls, create and develop sales presentations for prospective customers in-person and virtually.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability and desire to quickly learn new product lines and processes.
  • Business Development: Plan and organize the personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on investment for the territory / sector.
  • Customer Service: Ability to help customer make decision on color, style, texture, and functionality of window coverings.
  • Communication: Return calls from customers and administration with a high sense of urgency.
  • Organization: Use a system to manage contacts, appointments, and other pressing priorities.
  • Independence: Able to work independently and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Business Growth: Business Development & looking for new sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • Passion for Design and Sales: Passion for design, sales and building lifetime customer relationships.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is a requirement, college degree or some college coursework is preferred.
  • Sales Experience: In-home or outside sales experience preferably in custom products/services or virtual selling.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency using computer software applications and ability to learn new technology and systems.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance coverage.
