Position Overview:

The Territory Sales Consultant will engage with clients to drive the growth of our Labtician branded surgical and therapeutic product lines. This role involves partnering with select Optometry practices to develop a specialized focus on Dry Eye treatment. The consultant will target specific accounts, aiming to improve clinical outcomes for Dry Eye patients while assisting practices in achieving their financial objectives.

Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for generating revenue for our portfolio of ophthalmic medical devices. Key focus areas include specialty surgeons, optometrists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals. The consultant may occasionally observe surgical procedures to stay informed about current medical practices and the products utilized, ensuring effective support for our offerings. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers through personal, phone, and written communication is essential for driving sales.

The consultant will concentrate on key accounts and implement strategic account plans to foster business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales orientation and exceptional consultative selling abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive sales and profitability within the therapeutic and surgical product lines.

· Develop and execute Territory Business Plans, identifying target accounts aligned with marketing strategies.

· Cultivate strong consultative relationships with target accounts and their staff.

· Provide regular training sessions on diagnostic equipment and Labtician therapeutic products.

· Establish robust customer relationships with a diverse range of clients, including surgeons, nurses, procurement teams, hospital administrators, and optometrists.

· Ensure market access for all Labtician products across hospitals, health authorities, buying groups, and private clinics.

Required Qualifications:

· Self-motivated individual with a proven track record of sales success, ideally with at least one year of B2B sales experience.

· Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

· Customer-focused with the capability to develop and sustain relationships.

· Results-oriented with a proactive approach to driving sales and expanding the customer base.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· At least one year of experience in B2B sales.

· Alternatively, 1-3 years of sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry, preferably within the Optometric or Ophthalmic sectors.

· Demonstrated successful sales performance, including the ability to:

o Identify and influence decision-makers.

o Manage and prioritize a diverse workload.

o Oversee budgets and execute strategic plans.

o Communicate scientific and clinical product features and benefits effectively.

· Willingness to travel regionally as required (approximately 35%).
