About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at MASTER CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Develop and implement cost estimates and material requirements for construction projects.
  • Supervision and Training: Oversee the training and development of apprentices and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit production and other reports to stakeholders.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of workers, including coordinating staffing actions.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on the construction site.
  • Work Scheduling and Organization: Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and recommend personnel actions as needed.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition materials and supplies as required for construction projects.
  • Project Management: Supervise workers and projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that workers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
