Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
    • Supervise physical inventory counts and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and recorded inventory.
  • Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed reports on inventory levels for management and stakeholders.
    • Develop inventory forecasts and cost analyses.
  • Internal Control:
    • Establish and maintain internal controls to secure inventory.
    • Conduct regular audits of inventory processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration:
    • Work closely with purchasing, production, and logistics departments to optimize stock levels.
    • Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Recommend and implement improvements to inventory management systems.
    • Participate in projects to implement new inventory software or systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Expertise in using data analysis tools and software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and other office software.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or CPA certification.
