Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Global Lumber Resources Inc.

Job Summary:

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a financial operations role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word.
