Occupational Therapist Assistant

At destinationone Consulting, we are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an OTA, you will work closely with occupational therapists to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to patients, enhancing their daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists to improve patients' daily living skills.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities to enhance their independence and daily functioning.
- Document patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain equipment and organize treatment areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies and tools to promote independence and self-care.
- Associate's degree from an accredited OTA program.
- National certification and state licensure as an occupational therapy assistant.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Compassion and commitment to patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
