Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing of payroll changes, resolving issues, and ensuring the accuracy of records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the processing of payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and raises
  • Resolve payroll-related issues and answer questions from employees and management
  • Help create and implement systems for processing payroll account transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments
  • Supervise and coach payroll coordinators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes
  • Create reports and ensure the accuracy of records to meet regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • PC or CPM certification is an asset
  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes in Canada and the USA
  • 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role is an asset
  • Able to work with a variety of payroll applications
  • 4+ years of total payroll experience
