About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at THE FLATS EATERY + DRINK. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Menu Planning and Inventory: Work with our culinary team to plan and implement new menu items, ensuring that they are aligned with our brand values and customer preferences. Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Staff Development: Train and develop our staff, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, providing insights and recommendations to improve our operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Language: English
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
