Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for processing payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for the team
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Make journal entries
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Conduct audits
  • Manage full cycle A/P
Requirements:
  • Adeptness in ordering office supplies and equipment
  • Government Remittances experience highly desired
  • Strong familiarity with account analysis
  • Month end closings experience preferred
  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll
  • Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
  • Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  • 3+ years of related experience
